As a single mother to three young children — including a newborn — she lived in a roofless shelter with no clean water, no income, and no security. Every day, she was forced to leave her children alone for hours to find domestic work just to secure enough food for a single day.
There was no support system. No one to turn to. No future in sight.

A New Beginning
Through the Freedom Fund, Kolsuma was given more than just aid — she was given dignity, opportunity, and a pathway to stability.
– Safe Housing & Water Access: A brand new two-bedroom home was built for Kolsuma and her children. A deep tube well was also installed, providing clean water for both her family and the surrounding community.
– Education & Nutrition: Her children are now enrolled in school with all their educational expenses covered. The family receives monthly food support, ensuring no one goes hungry again.
– Skills & Income: Kolsuma completed tailoring training through the Foundation and now earns a reliable income through small sewing orders using the machine she was gifted.
Today, Kolsuma no longer fears for her children’s future. They are safe, learning, and fed. She has a home. She has hope.
